PUTRAJAYA, 5 November – Two Masters students and one Bachelor of Computer Science (Multimedia) student under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rahmita Wirza O.K. Rahmat from the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) were appointed as mobile application developers of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 Education Colloquium’s participant registration application. The colloquium was held by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia.

The mobile application modules include registration, colloquium information, an Augmented Reality (AR) module for various related information, and e-certificates for registered participants. Participant information obtained through either Android or iOS mobile devices were stored in a server database at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, UPM. This information has been given to the colloquium committee members to be analysed.

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 Education Colloquium’s programme themed ‘Imagineering Education in the Fourth Industrial Revolution’ was held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre and was launched by the former Education Minister, YB Dr. Maszlee Malik. This colloquium was held to expose the public to IR 4.0 education.
