PETALING JAYA, MAY 2023 - In the HILTI IT Competition held on May 12, 2023, InnovationIgniters has emerged as one of the seven finalists. The group consists of talented bachelor students in software engineering, namely Julia (group leader), Danish, Syahirah, Thaqif, and Izrin. They presented a smart environmental monitoring system called SiteSentry, which offers real-time hazard mitigation and precautionary alerts in construction environments. Participating in the competition has provided them with invaluable experience, as well as the opportunity to connect with industry experts and gain insights into current market demands. The group would like to express heartfelt gratitude to their HILTI industry mentor Mrs. Hung Yen and HILTI ambassador that handle the team Mr. Dhillon, academic mentor Dr. Hafeez Osman, and everyone who supported them throughout this incredible journey.
