The External Assessor of the Multimedia Department, Prof. Dr. Anthony Steed, visited and evaluated the Bachelor programme offered by the Multimedia Department, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FSKTM), from 15th to 19th November 2022.

Prof. Anthony Steed is a Professor in the field of Computer Graphics and Virtual Environments in the Department of Computer Science, University College London (UCL), United Kingdom. The purpose of this visit is for him to evaluate the Bachelor of Computer Science (Multimedia Computing) with Honors programme being offered by the Multimedia Department. Among the items on the agenda of the visit are a meeting with the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International), faculty management, department lecturers, and some representatives of Bachelor students from each cohort.

Lecturers and students share opinions and views on the bachelor's programme offered and the facilities provided at the faculty. He was also taken to visit all the facilities and laboratories provided by FSKTM for learning and research. Prof. Dr. Anthony Steed also delivered a talk entitled "The Challenges and Opportunities of Consumer Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality," which was attended by 80 participants from inside and outside the faculty.

At the discussion session with representatives of the research group, the discussion agenda included exploring potential areas of cooperation to strengthen cooperation between FSKTM and UCL. It is hoped that from the visits and evaluations that have been made, the Multimedia Department can maintain the quality of the bachelor's programme offered and improve the learning experience of students at FSKTM.
