SERDANG, September 2022 - The victory of the veteran Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) men's shot putter successfully brought home the silver medal on the last day of athletics contested at the Inter-University Malaysia (SUKUM) Staff Sports Championship here today. 

Dr. Muhammad Daniel Hafiz Abdullah, UPM athlete expressed his happiness for successfully donating silver to UPM as a collection of his victories in the most popular event apart from javelin throwing. He remained satisfied because he was able to give fierce competition to his challengers from other universities. He is a lecturer from the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, UPM. His personal record was when he presented gold to UPM in the same event in 2019 at the Malaysian Statutory Body Sports Championship (SUKANUN).
