SERDANG, 1 March – Vice Chancellor of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), YBhg. Dato' Prof. Dr. Mohd Roslan Sulaiman signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Innopolis University, Russia today in the field of information and communication technology (ICT).

This MoU through UPM's Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FSKTM) is one of the efforts towards a strong partnership in technology learning and ICT promotion. The main objective of this MoU collaboration is aimed at the exchange of best practices and innovative experiences of ICT and the exchange of faculty members and students in learning, visits, joint experiments, internships and the implementation of other collaborative projects.

In addition, this collaboration also strives to develop joint research areas as well as form other areas of cooperation that will be mutually agreed upon by these two entities in forming a synergy of bilateral expertise.

This effort also supports Goal 2 of the UPM Strategic Plan 2021-2025 which is to Create a Research and Innovation Hub that Generates Value Based on a Sustainable Ecosystem.
