SERDANG, 14 January -  Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. establish a strategic partnership through the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology as the leader in ICT.

Huawei ICT Academy through Huawei Authorized Information and Network Academy (HAINA) programme aims to authorize academic institutions such UPM in delivering practical skills and training of Huawei Certificate to university students. This move is a continuous effort in evolving local ICT talent, promote regional development and participation in the digital community.

UPM through a strategic plan seeks to improve linkages and collaboration with industry in preparing UPM graduates to handle smart devices in tandem with the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.
