Bangi, December 2023 - Congratulations to Haziq Hakimi Mazlisham, Haris Azhari Zaharudin, and Muhammad Hakim Zulkhainain, third-year students of the Bachelor of Computer Science – Multimedia Computing program, for achieving the prestigious title of Grand Champion in the International Artificial Intelligence-themed Hackathon (Hack@10 2023) competition. Hosted by UNITEN, the competition featured 220 participants from around the globe, and our team emerged victorious.

Their outstanding project, titled ‘RiceRescue: An AI-Enhanced Multi-Modal System for Paddy Health Status Monitoring and Pests Detection,’ showcased their innovation and dedication. Mentored by Dr. Noris Mohd Norowi, Dr. Nuur Alifah Roslan, and Mr. Teo Rhun Ming, the team's hard work paid off with the RM5000 grand prize.
