Greetings

Welcome to the website of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FSKTM), Universiti Putra Malaysia. FSKTM was officially established in 1998, after being upgraded from the Department of Computer Science which was established since 1992. After more than two decades, FSKTM has produced many quality and competitive graduates in various fields related to information technology.

In line with the 4.0 Industry Revolution (4IR), FSKTM offers courses such as artificial intelligence, big data, Internet of things, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), cloud computing, cybersecurity, and autonomous robots, to meet the needs of the industry.

Lecturers of FSKTM not only are trained and experienced in imparting knowledge to undergraduate students, but we are also highly skilled in the fields of research to be able to guide and supervise postgraduate students to conduct research. FSKTM lecturers have published hundreds of research articles in impactful journals and have successfully obtained research grants from within and outside the country.

Embracing UPM's motto of "With Knowledge We Serve", FSKTM not only imparts knowledge to students, but also serves the society through community networks. FSKTM actively collaborates with industry to provide students with the real world of work experience, and at the same time collaborates with the community, so that graduates born from FSKTM can later contribute to community development.
