MALAYSIAN NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DATABASES 2014

CALL FOR PAPER MANCOD 2014

The Database Technology and Applications (DBTA) Research Group of Universiti Putra Malaysia invites Malaysians locally and abroad to participate in the Malaysian National Conference of Databases 2014 (MaNCoD 2014), to be held on 17th September 2014 at the Universiti Putra Malaysia, Serdang, Selangor, Malaysia.

MaNCoD 2014 theme is "Data Management and storage: Leveraging Big Data" that will focus on the Malaysian context of databases, Big Data, and Knowledge Management. The program of MaNCoD 2014 will include keynotes from Malaysian government agency and industry related to databases and Big Data implementation and practices. Apart from that, research track will highlight current foundational work on databases and Big Data which will include concept papers, experimental efforts and policies that revolves around the initiation, designing and implementation of databases from the traditional approach to Big Data technologies and also the issues that exists between them.

MaNCod 2014 seek original, UNPUBLISHED research paper reporting substantive new idea, proposals, implementation of new approach in databases and Big Data within the Malaysian context. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Papers submitted to MANCOD 2014 must not have been accepted for publication elsewhere or be under review for another workshop or conference.

All submitted papers will be carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of expression. All submissions must be in English. The first author of the paper MUST BE A MALAYSIAN.

Submissions must not exceed 6 pages in the final camera-ready paper style. Submissions must be laid out according to the final camera-ready formatting instructions and must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format. All submissions must be received no later than August 20th, 2014.

For your submission you can use the standard IEEE Transactions templates for Microsoft Word or LaTeX formats found at HERE.
