The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FSKTM), Universiti Putra Malaysia, was honoured to host a Meet & Greet Session with YBhg. Dato’ Sri Jailani Johari, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Universiti Putra Malaysia.

Also present were members of the Board of Directors, namely Dato’ Mohd Satim Diman and Tuan Sabrie Salleh.

The visit began with a session involving the Faculty Management, which featured an introductory presentation by the Dean, YBhg. Dato’ Prof. Dr. Shamala K. Subramaniam. The presentation highlighted the faculty’s key achievements, strategic priorities, and future directions. The session provided a valuable platform for constructive discussions, enabling alignment of vision and reinforcing the faculty’s commitment to excellence and impactful innovation.

This was followed by an interaction session with faculty members, which also included student representatives from ComCil and the Graduate Student Club (GSC-FSKTM). The session commenced with welcoming remarks by the Dean and continued with an engaging and open dialogue. YBhg. Dato’ Sri Jailani Johari engaged actively with participants, exchanging views and insights in a dynamic and collegial setting.

The interaction fostered meaningful engagement between the university leadership and the faculty community, reflecting FSKTM’s commitment to inclusivity, open communication, and continuous improvement.
