The Inaugural Lecture Series is a lecture that will be conducted by every Professor appointed at the university to impart their professional knowledge to the general public. Due to the current Pandemic COVID-19 situation in Malaysia, all the conditions of the old norm, namely face-to-face lectures, had to be transformed into new norms, namely by using online delivery methods.

In relation to that on 6 November 2020 (Friday) at 9 am, the ceremony of the Premier Lecture ceremony presented by YBhg. Prof. Ts. Dr Rusli Abdullah, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FSKTM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has successfully held online as a pioneer in facing this new norm.

This ceremony was officially opened by YBhg. UPM Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mohd Roslan bin Sulaiman and has been broadcast live online using the social media equipment Facebook CSIT / FSKTM and UPM.
