Admission Requirements

LOCAL CANDIDATES

The conditions of admission for the Bachelor of Computer Science are as follows:

i.    Eligibility minimum STPM Candidates
 

Terms of General University

a.  Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with the good;

b.  Pass with Credit in Malay / Bahasa Malaysia at SPM level or its equivalent;

c.   Passed STPM with at least:

• Grade C (NGMP 2.00) subjects of General Study; and
• Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in two (2) other subjects.

d.  Has taken the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).

Special Needs Programs (All Specialization)

a. At least Grade C+ (NGMP 2.33) in Mathematics (T) at STPM level.

ii.   Minimum qualifications Candidates Matriculation / Foundation Science UM / Foundation Agriculture UPM / Fundamental Law KPTM.

General Terms of the University

a.  Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / equivalent with good;

b.  Pass with Credit in Malay / Bahasa Malaysia at SPM level or its equivalent;

c.   Passed Matriculation / Foundation Science UM / Foundation Agriculture UPM / Human Sciences Law KPTM with at least CGPA 2.00; and

d.  Has taken the Malaysian University Bahasa Test (MUET).

Special Needs Program (All Specialization)

a. Matriculation Life Sciences / Physical Sciences
 

At least Grade C+ (2.33) in the subjects of Mathematics.

iii.  Equivalent Qualifications

Terms of General University

a.  Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with the good;

b.  Pass with Credit in Malay / Bahasa Malaysia at SPM level or its equivalent;

c.   Has approved diploma or recognized equivalent approved by the Malaysian Government and approved by the University Senate and

d.  Has taken the Malaysian University Bahasa Test (MUET).

Special Needs Programs (All Specialization)

Diploma in the appropriate field or other qualifications recognized by the Senate.
