Serdang, 8 August 2025 – The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Exchange Ceremony between Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Hilti Asia IT Services Sdn. Bhd. marked a decade of strong and impactful collaboration in advancing education, research, and development — particularly in technology and IT innovation for digital construction solutions.

Over the past 10 years, this partnership has driven initiatives in software engineering, data analytics, and digital solutions — equipping students with industry-ready skills and creating opportunities for research, internships, and real-world technology projects.

The highlight of the event was the symbolic MoU exchange, represented by YBhg. Dato’ Prof. Dr. Shamala K. Subramaniam, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FCSIT), and Mr. Lee Wai Meng, Managing Director of Hilti Asia IT Services Sdn. Bhd. — who is also a proud alumnus of FCSIT. This meaningful gesture not only reaffirmed their shared commitment to excellence but also reflected the spirit of innovation at the heart of this long-standing partnership.
