Bangi, 8 June – The Robomaster Competition was held at Smart Selangor Anjung Digital, University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). The competition was organised by the ARVIS club, from the Faculty of Science and Information Technology (FSTM), UKM, and welcomed participants from all universities in Malaysia. In total, eight teams participated in this competition: three teams from UPM, two teams from UTeM and UKM, and one team from UTM. Three challenges were given to the participants: Challenge 1 – Robomaster manual control, Challenge 2 – Robomaster programming, and Challenge 3 – Robomaster race. All challenges were required to be completed in one day.

Team Purerobotics from the Department of Software Engineering and Information Systems (SEIS), Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, UPM won the 1^st Prize in  the competition. Team Purerobotics was comprised of three members: Adly Syaukat bin Shahrom Azmi, Muhamad Izrin Syafiq bin Ahmad Jalil, and Irfan Afiq bin Abdul Rahman. All UPM teams were jointly supervised by Ts. Dr. Khaironi Yatim Sharif, Ts. Dr. Mohd Hafeez Osman and Dr. Erzam Marlisah. By winning this competition, the team brought home RM 350 including a certificate of achievements.
