KUALA LUMPUR, March 2023 – ‘Jom Sahur’ program is a volunteer activity organized by Universiti Putra Malaysia involving collaboration between the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FSKTM) with the Onn Ja'afar Institute (IOJ). This activity involved 25 students and five staff from FSKTM and the Universiti Putra Malaysia Co-Curriculum and Student Development Center (PKPP) who also distributed food to the homeless at the KL Homeless Transit Center and Medan Tunku Homeless Center.

This program is organized every year with the aim of giving students a sense of awareness and empathy towards the community, especially the less fortunate such as the homeless. In addition, there are many who need help and support, the students' participation proves that UPM is always concerned about the plight of the needy such as the homeless.
